Dr. Angela Moger, SLC Professor, Emeritus in French and Comparative Literature, will present the series. She writes “Fiction is doubly beguiling. Our initial infatuation engenders a second level of enticement: the desire to grasp its means of working its wiles. This course will develop our radar for detecting how writers produce their magic. Six stories by well-known 20th century authors will be analyzed to illustrate how form begets content.”

The lectures are open and free to Friends of Sarah Lawrence College Library. Everyone is welcome to become a “Friend”. To join, please go online, <https://alum.slc.edu/friends-of-the-library>, or bring a check to a program event. The membership fees are: Basic/Single-$45, Basic/Dual-$60, Sponsor-$100, Benefactor-$500, Patron-$1,000.
