Fire At Waste Management In Yonkers; Traffic Affected: UPDATE

As of 1:15 p.m., due to active fire operations in the vicinity of 325 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers Avenue will be closed in both directions at Midland Avenue for the next three hours and possibly longer. Commuters are advised to avoid the area and plan accordingly. This incident has also affected traffic on the Saw Mill Parkway at the Yonkers Avenue exits.

YONKERS, NY — A fire is being fought Tuesday at a Waste Management facility in Yonkers. The blaze at 325 Yonkers Ave. began around 10 a.m.
