Joe Morris was a second round pick for the New York Giants in the 1982 NFL Draft. Not only did Morris score a touchdown in his first rushing attempt with the New York Giants, but he was a key member of the team when the Giants won Super Bowl XXI in 1986, scoring a touchdown in the game. Morris was selected into the Pro Bowl in 1985 and 1986 and received All-NFL honors for his performance in the games. Before being drafted into the NFL, Joe Morris was a four year starter at Syracuse University, and an All-American by the end of his college career.
