Fraudulent Checks, Phone Account Top The Latest Bronxville Police Blotter
Here are a few of the most recent incidents the Bronxville Village Police dealt with.

BRONXVILLE, NY — Bronxville Police earned their keep during the early part of September. Besides two attempts to cash fraudulent checks, there was also a fraudulent Sprint account opened in someone's name and a man exposed himself to a woman sitting in her car. Here’s a rundown from the latest Village of Bronxville Police Department blotter.
- 4:16 p.m., Sept. 1: An Elm Lane resident reported that a Sprint account was fraudulently opened in her name and that she received a bill in the amount of $4,536.68.
- 6:28 p.m., Sept. 3: An officer on routing patrol observed an intoxicated man on platform at the Bronxville Train Station. The officer determined the man was unable to care for himself and was taken to Lawrence Hospital for evaluation.
- 12:29 p.m., Sept. 4: A 69-year-old Bronxville man was charged with misdemeanor public lewdness after a woman reported he walked up to the side of her car where she was sitting and exposed himself to her. The man was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending his next court date.
- 4:14 p.m., Sept. 6: Arthur D’Angelo, 35, no address given, was charged with felony second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument after he attempted to cash a fraudulent check July 26 at the Citibank at 95 Pondfield Road, police said. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending his next court date.
- 1:25 p.m., Sept. 8: Two days later at the Pondfield Road Citibank, Estebon Garcia, 29, of White Plains, attempted to cash a fraudulent check, police said. Officers arrived on the scene while Garcia was still in the bank. He was charged with three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, felonies. Garcia was also in possession of a fraudulent debit card and a fraudulent Connecticut driver license, police said. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending his next court date.
