“The thrust of this course is to give students an appreciation of the medium of cinema, what makes cinematic expression personal and how one’s films often reflect on personal issues,” commented Goldman.Â
The remainder of the sessions will be held on Mar. 13, 20, 27 and Apr. 3. The cost of the program is $130 and advance registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.
Dr. Goldman is an adjunct associate professor of film studies at Yeshiva University. He is a noted film historian and is film critic for NJ's "The Jewish Standard." He received a Ph.D. in Cinema Studies from New York University and was a fellow of the Max Weinreich Center for Eastern European Jewish Studies at Columbia University.Â
