Not much is known of Jesus prior to his ministry, other than the birth narratives. Yet, we have this story of him at 12, where he is in the Temple for a couple of days while his distressed parents are frantic to find him. Jesus astounded the religious leaders with his questions and understanding. We, as God’s children, can bring our honest questions as the boy Jesus did to the community of God and be supported and affirmed in our faith. This 12-year old boy has much to teach us about life with God. Fellowship hour follows worship. Free parking.
