July 4th Weekend Travel? Awful, But Cheaper Gas

While some are saying this will be the worse traffic for a holiday, at least gas prices won’t be so bad.

Nearly 43 million of us will be traveling this weekend, according to an article at the Journal News.

That will make the total 5 million more than the numbers of cars that were on the road for Memorial Day weekend.

On the bright said, the gas you are wasting sitting in traffic is probably the cheapest since 2005.

Fox Business said the national average for gasoline, according to GasBuddy.com, will fall 50 cents from this time last year.

That, one analyst said, is the opposite of the general consensus that prices go up before a travel holiday.
