Jury Deliberating In Selwyn Days' 5th Trial
Days is accused of murdering an Eastchester millionaire and his home health aide.

EASTCHESTER, NY — Deliberations have begun for the latest trial of Selwyn Days, who was accused of murdering Archie Harris, 79, and Betty Ramcharan, 35. This is the fifth murder trial for Days.
He was convicted in his fourth trial in 2011, but it was overturned by an appellate court, the Journal New said. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
The bodies of Harris and Ramcharan, Harris’ home health aide, were discovered Nov. 21, 1996, at 4 Berkley Circle in Eastchester.

Days was not arrested until February 2001.
He has been in jail since his arrest.
