Kim Eierman to Speak at the Rockland Audubon Society, February 7 at 7:30pm

Just in time for spring!  "Plant it and They Will Come: Creating the Bird-Friendly Garden."

Are Cedar Waxwings passing you by? No Eastern Towhees stopping in your yard? You can do a lot in your own landscape to help our many declining bird species. Learn how to attract and support our native birds and neo-tropical migrants with ecological design and proper plant selection. Kim Eierman, founder of EcoBeneficial!, will share helpful tips on successful bird-friendly gardening and some of the best choices of native plants.

Meetings are held at the Community Center, Congers Lake Memorial Park, 6 Gilchrest Rd., Congers, NY, 10920.

There is plenty of parking near the Community Center and it is handicap accessible.

RAS programs are free and open to the public. Donations to help offset costs are greatly appreciated!

Unless otherwise noted, doors open at 7pm for refreshments and mingling with fellow birders and nature enthusiasts. Formal program begins at 7:30pm!
