The Manhattanville School of Business Welcomes Jean Mann and Denise Cain

Mann announced as director of marketing and enrollment services; Cain joins as assistant director of undergraduate programs

Manhattanville School of Business (MSB) is pleased to announce the addition of Greenwich resident Jean Mann as director of marketing and enrollment services and Rye resident Denise Cain as assistant director of undergraduate programs and noncredit initiatives. Both have extensive backgrounds in higher education, business, and marketing.

In her new role, Jean will capitalize the unique benefits of the college – its graduate, undergraduate, and certificate programs – to drive student enrollment, program attendance, and to increase revenues. Mann also will focus her efforts on better brand visibility – synchronizing and perfecting the schools’ branding as well as launching new initiatives like MSB’s Women’s Leadership Institute and Corporate Learning Services.

Prior to joining MSB, Mann served as director of marketing and client relations for School Choice International, a global educational consulting firm. Mann has worked at universities in both Connecticut and New York City, serving in a variety of capacities including extension campus director, adjunct instructor, and director of admissions and marketing. At Xerox and Scholastic Corporations, Mann developed her skills in both marketing and corporate communications departments. Her work has earned her the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) award and certification from Worldwide ERC.

Mann received her MBA from Baruch College with a concentration in marketing management. She holds her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and has completed a diploma program in advertising from New York University.

At MSB, Cain will be responsible for the accelerated BS programs, dual degree programs, post baccalaureate offerings, summer/winter sessions, non-credit programs, and centers of excellence. Cain comes to Manhattanville from the College of Staten Island – CUNY, where she served as senior academic advisor to the School of Business, as well as executive administrator for the dean of Humanities and Social Sciences. Prior to working in an academic setting, Cain developed her business expertise in the international sales and marketing industry.

Cain obtained her BFA in Sculpture from Atlanta College of Art. She also has an MA in History/Material Culture from The College of Staten Island. Cain has taught courses as a part-time professor in English composition and entrepreneurship.
