New York’s WQXR describes harpist Sivan Magen as a “magician.” The only Israeli to ever win the International Harp Contest in Israel, a recent winner of the Pro Musicis International Award and the 2012 award winner of the Borletti-Buitoni Trust, Magen’s recent performances include solo appearances in the US, South America, Europe and Israel. He has appeared at Carnegie and Wigmore Halls and given the world premiere of Permont’s “Aviv” concerto with the Israel Philharmonic.
