New Instruments Abound for Concordia Conservatory

Concordia Conservatory and Andrus Early Learning Center received a grant recently from the Junior League of Bronxville for new hand instruments and other resources for the young musicians.

 

Music lessons at the Concordia Conservatory just got a little more fun as they recently received a discretionary grant from The Junior League of Bronxville for new hand instruments and dance scarves. 

Vidia Cordero, the Executive Director at Andrus says that these donations will really help enhance the music program fro the students.

“This new gift of chimes, rhythm sticks, castanets and colorful scarves will delight our children and enhance the music lessons we so enjoy from the Conservatory,” said Cordero. 

“Music and dance in our new children’s theatre in The Carter Arts Wing is a very special component of our early childhood curriculum and we’re so grateful to the Junior League for this latest show of support,” she continued.

is all moved into their new facilities, located in Village Hall in Tuckahoe and they provides half and full-day care for children beginning at age six weeks up through 5 years of age.
