Dog of the Week: Benny

Breed: Beagle mix

Age: 6 months old

Bio: Benny is young dog Yonkers Shelter volunteers believe is a Beagle mix that will become a medium size dog when fully grown. He was injured when he was just a young puppy, and left at the vet’s office by his prior owner. He has fully recovered since then, and is as good as new! Benny gets along great with kids, cats and other dogs, and would make a great family pet.

Cat of the Week: Tom & Jerry

Breed: Domestic Medium Hair

Age: 5 months old

Bio: Meet Tom and Jerry, two adorable kittens who have been at the Yonkers Animal Shelter since they were tiny little things. They are about five months now, neutered and ready to go off to their first home. Tom and Jerry love to have fun together, and never leave each other’s side. Care to adopt both of them? They would love to stay together!
