Breed: Boxer Mix

Age: 1 year

Bio: Meet Honey, a 1 year old Boxer Mix who weighs around 55 pounds and has just been spayed. Yonkers Shelter volunteers say she is calm, friendly, and gets a long very well with other dogs and cats. She would make a great family pet. Honey was found as a stray, and has already had puppies, even though she is only just a pup herself. She would love a home, so stop bye the Yonkers Animal Shelter to say hello!

Cat of the Week: Tara

Breed: Tortoiseshell

Age: 7 months

Bio: Tara is a young and petite cat that shelter workers say is very friendly. She has not been spayed yet, but as an adolescent is at a good age to be adopted. She has a beautiful coloring and would make a great family pet. Come meet Tara the Tortie!
