Playland to Receive $5 Million from FEMA for Storm Repairs
The funding will be divided into two parts.

County-owned amusement park Playland in Rye is slated to receive $5 million in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for storm repairs, announced United States Rep. Eliot Engel.
The allocation will be divided into $1.6 million for the North Boardwalk and $3.4 million for the rest of the park, all of which were damaged by 2012’s Hurricane Sandy, reports The Journal News.
A message to Engel’s press representative Saturday was not immediately returned.
