Police: Man Accused of Leaving Scene After Accident with Bike
The accident happened on Garth Road Saturday afternoon.

An Eastchester resident is accused of leaving the scene of an accident on Garth Road Saturday where a cyclist fell off his bike, Eastchester police said.
According to police, the accident, which was reported at 5:06 p.m., involved a Yonkers cyclist and the driver of a 2004 Mercury Sable. After getting into contact with the driver, Daniel Minozzi, 48, police charged him with leaving the scene of an accident with a personal injury, police said.
The cyclist, who suffered cuts to his cheek, arm, hands and knees, went to the Lawrence Hospital ER. He reported to police that he possibly had a torn MCL in his knee as well.

Minozzi was released on his own recognizance and is due in court on October 6.
