Police Release Sketch of Dead Man Found Along Bronx River Parkway

The public is being asked if they can help identify the man.

Police have released a sketch of the man found dead along the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers April 2.

Westchester County Public Safety Commissioner George N. Longworth said he was hoping a member of the public would recognize the man and help the County Police identify him.

“I urge anyone with information about this person to contact us,” he said.

The deceased is a male Hispanic who is in his 50s. He is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.

Detectives believe he died somewhere else and was left alongside the road.

His body was seen by a passing motorist around 4:45 a.m. April 2 along the southbound Bronx River Parkway, a short distance south of the Scarsdale Road exit.

The cause of death is pending until toxicology tests have been received.
