Puttin' On The Hits At RiverVue In Tuckahoe

Retirees were decked out in costume, dance and song for their talent show a few weeks ago in what proved to be a very entertaining program.

 

If you have ever wondered if there is local talent here in Tuckahoe well there is, but not neccesarily from the schools alone, but also from the residents of The .

The retirement community got together earlier this month for a Valentines Day talent show, with impressive impersonations of their favorite musical artists and a whole lot of fun and excitement.

Some of the performances included impressions from The Andrews Sisters (performed by Anna D’Angelo, JulieAnn Vedovino and Chandra Sanchara), Anglina Kelly and The Marinara Sisters (performed by Joan Petraglia, Connie Conte, Yolanda Caponetti and Mary Pinto) and Tina Turner (performed by Alice Bishop-Wade with Dancers, Celeste Ventura and Deanery Alvarez )

“Everyone who performed had a blast and those who didn’t share a talent had a lot of laughs watching. We’ll definitely be doing this again,” said JulieAnn Vedovino, community life director and organizer of the event.

Sonny and Cher with Chastity made an appearance (performed by Lucy Kafer, Stephanie Rigley and Anna D’Angelo), Diana Ross and the Supremes dropped by (performed by Keisha Smith, Thea DeBellis, Theresa Ragland and Christine Cho) and of course, the day would not have been complete without a rendition of My Funny Valentine, sung by Emily Viggiano and Marcia Bennett.
