Red Cross Babysitter Training Course
To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children.
Participants will learn how to:
- Respond to emergencies with first aid, rescue breathing and more
- Make good decisions under pressure
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Recognize safety and hygiene issues
- Manage young children
- Feed, diaper and care for infants
- Start their babysitting business
This course is recommended for students 11 years and up.
All participants who complete the class will be added to the JCC Babysitter Referral List.

Date/Time: Sunday, January 25 or Thursday, February 19
10:00am- 4:30 pm (includes lunch break. Students may bring bagged (kosher) lunch, or go to Golden Horseshoe shopping center)
Fee: $95/student - includes all class materials
