
A few months back, I finally saw the Martin Scorsese picture, "Shutter Island". Frankly, I was a bit underwhelmed - but perhaps my expectations were too high. The premise - a U.S. Marshal investigating a disappearance from a very creepy hospital for the criminally insane - seemed right up my alley.
Although the movie disappointed a bit, the premise still intrigues me. And while Lawrence Hospital is far from anything like Shutter Island, on this night, a lone light glowing in a top floor window reminded me of the film. Using a Gorillapod (a small, flexible tripod) and a long exposure of about 45 seconds, I took this photograph.
Certainly nothing sinister was happening in that top floor room, but one can always imagine...
