Our first "real" vacation as a family brought us to Cape Cod this past week. We rented a house down the street from some Bronxville friends in Chatham, MA, which is at the "elbow" of the Cape.
There was quite a buzz in town about a series of Great White shark sightings off the coast, but fortunately our vacation was Jaws-free.
Chatham boasts a number of beaches, including South Beach on the Atlantic side, and Ridgevale and Harding's Beaches on the Nantucket Bay side. This photograph is from Harding's Beach, and was taken just before sunset, when the lifeguards had left patrolling the waters in the hands...err, fins...of the sharks.
