
I took a nice walk around the Bronxville Nature Preserve this morning. Dogs and owners were playing in the meadow, while the bees and dragonflies buzzed around the gardens. This robin kept watch from his perch.
The American Robin is typically considered one of the quintessential signs of spring, at least in my memory. However, according to the Cornell Lab of Orinthology, they're here twelve months a year. They just stay up in the trees when it gets cold, so you don't see them as much.
