Sunday Series: Tuckahoe Stucco
A look through the lens of Bronxville-based photographer Jay Wilson.

While on a walk through the hilly streets of Tuckahoe, I was struck by the pretty little Emanuel AME Church on Van Duzen Place. The stucco architecture reminds me more of the desert southwest than it does Westchester. And the understated stained glass window completed the picture.
We live in an area rich with architecture. From the Tudor homes of Bronxville to the varied styles built into the hills of Tuckahoe, be sure to keep your eyes open when walking our streets and you may be surprised what you find.
