Tuckahoe Police Blotter: Car Damaged
A look at some of the incidents investigated by the Tuckahoe Police Department.

September 7:
2:10 p.m. A resident called to report that the top of the chain link fence that borders her property and a playground was unhooked.

11:19 p.m. A female told police there were two cars of teens in front of her home and that she didn't know why they were there. Police investigated and said that one of the teens lived near the caller and was being picked up by friends. The cars then left the area.

6:23 p.m. A caller reported to police that her car, which was parked in the Tuckahoe Paint & Glass lot, had been damaged. She said the car was parked in the lot between 4 and 5 p.m. while she shopped. Police said it appeared that the driver's side rear bumper was pushed in and there was a black and yellow scuffmark on the door. There was a security camera in the lot and store employees told the caller to contact the store manager to review the footage.
September 12:
9:27 a.m. A woman contacted Eastchester PD about possible criminal mischief on Gifford Street. Since it's in Tuckahoe, EPD contacted TPD. Tuckahoe police spoke to the resident, who said that someone had apparently removed the top piece to her outdoor light and broken the glass fixture, police said. It was discovered smashed and was valued at $50.
