3:10 p.m. A resident called police to report that someone claiming to be from the Washington D.C. Police Department had called and said her son owes $420 in payday loans. The resident told police that her son had never been to D.C. and she sensed it was a scam. When officers called the number, they spoke with a man who said he had received a number of calls from across the country with the same story. While the man does live in the D.C. area, he said didn't know anything of the calls and that someone was using his information. The man reported the matter to D.C. police.
9:36 p.m. A Warren Ave. resident reported a solicitor to police. When officers spoke to the man, Richard Lewis, his field manager, Kristin Foss, arrived. Officers told them they needed a permit to solicit in the Village. Foss had a permit from Eastchester and didn't realize they were no longer in the Town. The two were from the non-profit group NYPIRG.

11:01 a.m. In April, a woman moved out of her apartment on Lake Ave., telling the landlord she would be back in June to pick up the rest of her belongings, which included an air conditioner and a barbecue. When she returned on Friday, the landlord wouldn't let her in to the apartment and the woman reported the matter to police. Officers attempted to call the landlord, but could not reach him.

8:25 p.m. A 16-year-old Yonkers resident was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. While at the Immaculate Conception carnival, he was acting unruly and police asked him to leave. He refused and when police attempted to issue him a summons, he ran. Officers caught him running through a yard on Winterhill Road and arrested him. He is due in Village court on June 15.
June 6:
3:24 a.m. The owner of Crestwood Car Service told police that one of his taxicabs was due back at 7p.m. and had not been returned yet. He wanted to report the matter as an unauthorized use of a vehicle. The owner later found out that the driver of the taxi had been on his way back from a call in the Bronx when he went into diabetic shock. The driver pulled over and called an ambulance, which took him to Montefiore Hospital. He had left his phone at the cab stand, and couldn't be reached. The next day, he called to report what happened and the owner went to pick up the cab. No charges were filed.
This report does not include the incident from the Immaculate Conception carnival on June 4 where four were arrested.
