June 14:
2:44 p.m. A caller reported that he received a notice from the Tuckahoe court for outstanding parking tickets. However, he told police that the license plates associated with the tickets had been reported missing in 2007. Officers were told to be on watch for the plate, which they located on a grey Cadillac parked at 133 Sagamore Rd., at 1 a.m. on June 18. The owner of the car said he'd gotten the plates from a friend and didn't know they had been reported missing. The car was impounded and the owner told to straighten out the situation with the DMV before picking it up.
