Unlocked Cars In Bronxville Make For Easy Targets

A resident of Greenfield Ave. in Bronxville was a victim of theft last week when her IPhone was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

 

Time after time, we have heard many law enforcement agencies, including Bronxville Police advice residents to make sure that they secure their vehicles at all time, whether you are parked in the downtown areas of the village, or in your own driveway.

Last week, Bronxville PD was called to a residence on Greenfield Ave. in Bronxville after receiving a report that a cellular phone, an Apple IPhone 4 was stolen from the resident's unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours.

Police found no damage to the vehicle, which was parked in the driveway of the residence and no other items were observed to be missing.

Luckily for IPhone users, Apple provides a tracking device and the police are in the process of locating the stolen phone, which was valued at about $200.
