Viewfinder: Splashes of Color During this Drab Winter

Enjoying a stroll in Bronxville and Tuckahoe and see the colors pop.

With all the snowstorms, ice and cold weather we’ve had this year, it can feel like winter is never ending. (Although doesn’t it feel like that every year around this time?) The good news: If you’ve got the winter blues, the vibrant pottery and window displays along Pondfield Road in Bronxville can help brighten up your mood. Even the long-term parking meters in Tuckahoe add a touch of color. And with temperatures expected to warm up a bit this weekend, it’s a great time to get out and enjoy the scenery.
