If you have outdoor plans, a trip to the beach or a cookout planned with family and friends, then Saturday looks to be your best bet this weekend.
The updated and revised forecast for Saturday now calls for partly sunny skies and a “slight chance” of showers and a thunderstorm during the overnight into Sunday. The chance for unsettled weather is now just 20 percent. Yesterday, the chance of precipitation was at about 50 percent.

Sunday’s forecast still calls for mostly cloudy skies throughout the region and the chance for showers is now 40 percent, which is a slight decrease from yesterday’s NWS prediction.
Unfortunately, it appears the National Weather Service got Friday’s weather forecast correct as rain and possibly a thunderstorm are predicted up until late tonight. But the “Hazardous Weather Outlook” has been lifted for the area.
Have a great weekend!
