The Yonkers Comedy Festival comes to, well, Yonkers!

NoMa Comedy Shows is excited to announce that the Yonkers Comedy Festival (YCF) will take place from November 11th to 14th, 2015. The festival will feature comedy contests and shows throughout Yonkers with a special, world record setting kickoff show on November 11th.

“As NoMa Comedy has grown over the last few years, we had the idea to hold a high quality comedy festival somewhere in Westchester. When we started thinking about the perfect city to host such an event, Yonkers was the obvious choice” said Rich DeLayo, co-founder and CFO of NoMa Comedy Shows. Frank Pellegrino, co-founder and President of NoMa added “It’s time for the residents of Westchester to be proud of the comedic talent and comedy productions that have been right under their noses. Yonkers is the perfect city to showcase that talent”

The festival will kick off with two shows on November 11th; one of which will be a Media event/kickoff party/world record setting show at Rory Dolan’s where NoMa will be sending upwards of 100 comedians to the stage to perform during a 90 minute ‘speed show’. If successful, NoMa will be the first to document such an event and set the benchmark for a new world record category.
