1 Dead, 1 Injured In Fatal Brooklyn Car Crash: NYPD
The car veered into a metal train support pillar.

BROOKLYN, NY — One person died and another is in critical condition after crashing into a metal pillar in Brooklyn on Sunday, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, a 54-year-old man named Anthony Jorg was driving a white van with a 50-year-old woman in the passenger seat in front of 1271 McDonald Ave. when he crashed into an elevated train support pillar on Sunday afternoon at around 7:57 p.m.
Both were transported to Maimonides Medical Center in critical condition, and Jorg was pronounced dead, police said.
