$300M Lottery Ticket Sold In Brooklyn, Officials Say
The winning Powerball lottery ticket from Wednesday's drawing was sold in a Brooklyn gas station, according to the state gaming commission.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A winning Powerball ticket was sold in a Brooklyn gas station and its owner has yet to claim his $298.3 million prize, officials said.
The lucky lotto player bought Wednesday's winning ticket at Arnold Service Station on Linden Boulevard near Alabama Avenue in East New York, according to the New York State Gaming Commission.
The ticket holder has one year to claim either a $298.3 million annuity or $180.2 million cash prize, a gaming commission spokesperson said.

Wednesday's drawing winning numbers were 05, 25, 38, 52 and 67, with Powerball 24.
The owner is not the first New York City resident to win millions of dollars in the lottery this year.

Two Queens men won $19.5 million from a scratch-off ticket in July and a Harlem man won $687.8 million, the largest jackpot in state history, in October.
