74-Year-Old Brooklyn Woman Reported Missing From Kings Adult Care Center

Peggy Ponton was last seen at the Kings Adult Care Center, police told Patch.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 74-year-old woman who was last seen in her residence at the Kings Adult Care Center on Cropsey Avenue.

Peggy Ponton was last seen at 2255 Cropsey Ave. Thursday, Jan 12. at 7 p.m., police told Patch.

According to a description online, the nursing home provides 24-hour, non-medical care for adults who are physically handicapped, developmentally disabled, and/or mentally disabled.

Ponton, seen in the photo above, is described by police as standing 5-foot-4 and weighing 125 pounds. She has "salt and pepper hair" and brown eyes, police said. Ponton was last seen wearing a blue sweater, white sneakers and checkered black and gray pajamas.
