Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:

1. A Brooklyn family is searching for a deaf and autistic woman who went missing after a Queens hospital released her on Christmas Eve. Samantha Denise Primus, 46, is one of 10 siblings and has lived with her mother and brother on East 91st Street in Brooklyn for several years. Surveillance footage from Friday, December 23 shows Samantha leaving her sisters house in Queens around 4 a.m. About 16 hours later, a stranger found her lying on the ground at 190th Street and Hillside Avenue in Hollis, Queens amid wind and icy rain. She was taken to the emergency room and evaluated at Queens Hospital Center, and then was discharged. However, Samantha has been missing ever since, and her family has posted flyers throughout the borough. She is 5'3" and weighs 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, and a pink hat. If you have any information, please contact the Nassau County Police Department at 516-573-7347.

2. 'Doom Prophet' Frank James has plead guilty to terrorism in Sunset Park subway shooting. Yesterday, James, 63, plead guilty to federal terrorism charges filed against him after a mass shooting in a subway car last year that left 10 people injured with bullet wounds and terrified New Yorkers. The guilty plea covered all 11 counts against James, including 10 of terrorism for each of the victims injured in the attack. The plea will likely send the convicted to prison for decades, as prosecutors have suggested they plan to push for a lengthy sentence. James "planned his attack for years" and should spend decades in prison, they said.

3. Mayor Eric Adams has been ticketed yet again for a rat infestation in his Brooklyn row house. Poor Adams can't catch a break from the rodents; this is the second time in less than a year that the city Health Department inspector has ticketed the mayor for failing to root out a rat infestation in the Bed-Stuy building. According to New York Daily News, the inspector Shirley Jean, reported in the first ticket that she spotted recyclables littering the front yard of the four-story property, creating "harborage conditions" for the vile critters. In the second ticket, she listed various "active rat signs" she had witnessed during the visit. A hearing on the summonses is set for January 12 before an Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings officer, and Mayor Adams made a statement yesterday that he will use the opportunity to challenge the fines, amounting up to $1,200.
