Borough Park Robbing Spree Suspects Are Armed And On The Run

BROOKLYN, NY — Two suspects are on the loose after committing two armed robberies in Brooklyn on Friday night, the New York Police Department said.

The suspects, whose identities are unknown, threatened an 18-year-old at gunpoint to hand over his electric scooter near the 55th Street and 9th Avenue intersection in Borough Park around 11 p.m.

One of the suspects then punched the victim in the face with the gun, leaving a bruise.

One block away, the suspects forcefully stole a woman's purse and fled on the stolen scooter.

The woman, 45, was transported to Maimonides Medical Center for cuts to her mouth and leg from the struggle.
