I send this message to my fellow New Yorkers: I share your frustration — but be patient. You did your job and you did it well. Now our country finishes counting the votes to ensure this process is done right. Democracy must win. If you exercise your right to protest, be safe and look out for your fellow New Yorkers. No matter the final results, our fight for justice, equality, and better government is far from over.”
