Brooklyn E-Bike Rider Hospitalized After Halloween Night Crash: NYPD

The cyclist was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are investigating after an e-bike rider and a driver collided at the corner of East 5th Street and Kings Highway on Halloween night around 9:32 p.m.

According to the New York City Police Department, the driver said she had a green light and was making a right turn when she collided with a man going eastbound.

When police arrived at the scene, the cyclist was "not verbal" and rushed to Maimonides Medical Center for evaluation, police said.

Police have not made any arrests yet, and the driver stayed on the scene, officials said.
