9-Year-Old LEGO Builder “Lil J” Inspires Brooklyn Youth Through Creativity, Achievement, and Community Leadership

BROOKLYN, NY – At just 9 years old, Jason Curry Jr., affectionately known as “Lil J,” is proving that age is no limit to achieving extraordinary things. The young Brooklyn creator recently completed LEGO's iconic Eiffel Tower set, recognized as the largest commercially available LEGO set ever produced—a remarkable accomplishment requiring patience, focus, problem-solving, and perseverance.

Lil J's achievement is now inspiring a new generation of young creators through Lil J's Creative Canvas, a community-based creative learning center located at 1130 Bedford Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

Created to encourage imagination, self-expression, and hands-on learning, Lil J's Creative Canvas offers Summer Fun Camps and year-round creative programs designed to help youth and adults discover and develop their talents through arts, crafts, sewing, design, and creative entrepreneurship.

Lil J's Creative Canvas is a subsidiary of Soul Collections Sewing Lounge, an organization that has served the community for more than 22 years and has maintained a strong presence in Bedford-Stuyvesant for the past 12 years.

The center's Summer Fun Camps provide children with a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where they can explore:
