BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Hate speech graffiti was found scrawled across a Brooklyn bus stop over the weekend.
"Kill Arabs," it reads.

"We cannot and will not tolerate hate of any kind in New York City," Deutsch said, and noted he reported the graffiti at the B36 and B44 bus stop to the NYPD's 61st Precinct.
Brooklyn Borough President issued a statement Monday evening asking any New Yorkers with information about the message in the Sheepshead Bay bus stop to contact police.

"Our Arab-American brothers and sisters contribute immensely to the diversity of our borough, and I want to say loud and clear that we will always stand with them against attacks on their community," stated Adams.
“This deplorable and cowardly act is antithetical to the values we hold as Brooklynites. We cherish tolerance and diversity, and reject bigotry in all its forms."
New York City has been plagued with a spike in hate crimes, with arrests and anti-Semitic attacks nearly doubling in one year, police reported in May.
In Brooklyn, a rise of anti-Semitic, racist and homophobic attacks spurred Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez to form a hate crime task force in December 2018.
I am deeply disturbed and saddened by the recent anti-Semitic incident that occurred in Williamsburg when an Orthodox Jewish man was attacked on Flushing and Nostrand Avenue. And I was horrified & sickened that anyone would deface @JCMBrooklyn with such vile hate speech.
