Victim's Name Revealed In Bushwick Motorcycle Crash

BUSHWICK, NY — A motorcyclist was struck and killed in a collision with a truck on Scott Avenue in Bushwick Tuesday, the New York Police Department said. First responders were called to the scene via 911 shortly before 9 a.m. and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

The truck driver stayed on the scene. The name of the 29-year-old-man on the motorcycle is Philippe Haussmann, police said.

The NYPD Collusion Investigation Squad is handling the investigation, which is ongoing.

The initial investigation discovered that the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Scott Avenue, and the truck was traveling westbound on Flushing Avenue.
