Repairs in the Greenpoint tube finished early, sparing shops from more revenue losses during the crucial holiday season while remaining October outages continue for system upgrades.
   

2. New Brownsville center will house Community Board 16's offices (brooklyneagle.com) — Brownsville residents will soon have a major new resource hub: a $128 million, all-electric Brownsville Multi-Service Center that will house Brooklyn Community Board 16 and multiple community organizations. Completed early and under budget, the four-story facility includes office and meeting space, a commercial kitchen, and a community garden to support services for families across the neighborhood and wider Brooklyn.

Bronx Leads NYC Rent Growth as City Outpaces National Trend (credaily.com) — Rents in Brooklyn remain well above the national average, with recent growth outpacing most U.S. markets and helping push tenants into cheaper Bronx neighborhoods. New data from Chandan Economics shows New York City metro rents rising faster than the country overall, underscoring ongoing affordability pressures and feeding into the broader housing policy debate at City Hall.
