Police Shoot Man In Flatbush, Victim In Critical Condition
The victim displayed a knife during questioning, police say.

BROOKLYN, NY— Police officers shot a man several times after he pulled out a knife Friday afternoon in Flatbush, New York City Police Department officials said during a press conference Friday night.
Police officials said they arrived at 485 E 21st St. around 5:30 p.m. to question the man about some unsolved shootings when the victim pulled out a knife.
Police attempted to taser the man, but the taser didn't deploy, so they shot him several times.

Then, the victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he is in critical condition, police say.
The officers involved were not injured, but they were taken to Maimonides Medical Center, according to police.
