Trains Delayed After Fire Breaks Out On Tracks In Crown Heights
The fire started around 8:17 a.m. Friday.

BROOKLYN, NY — A track fire broke out at the Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College subway station on Friday morning, New York City Fire Department officials said.
The fire started at 8:17 a.m. and took 45 minutes to put out, with approximately 20 firefighters on the scene, the FDNY said. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
According to officials at New York City Transit, the 2, 4, and 5 trains are all running with delays due to the fire. The 3 train has resumed making regular stops, the NYCT said on X (formerly known as Twitter).
