Armed Robbers Steal $3.7K From 8 Brooklyn Stores In 2 Weeks: NYPD

Police are looking for three men who have robbed eight Brooklyn stores at gunpoint in the past two weeks.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Police are looking for three men who robbed eight Brooklyn stores in just two weeks.

The three armed men made off with about $3,700 in stolen cash after a nine-heist spree in Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, East New York, Williamsburg bodegas between Jan. 23 and Feb. 5, said police.

The trio most recently robbed the Game Stop at 1459 Rockaway Parkway on Monday, Feb. 5, around 5:15 p.m., said police. They pointed a gun at the 27-year-old employee, grabbed $500 from the cash register, and fled.

Police began investigating after the thieves stole hundreds from four bodegas — Rose Family Grocery in East New York, Marcy Express Grocery in Bed-Stuy, Ralph Avenue Food Corp and Cucuoa Deli in Crown Heights — in just one day on Jan. 28.

Investigators believe the robbery spree began on Jan. 23 when one of the suspects pulled out a gun and robbed a 59-year-old man of his jacket and cellphone on Reid Avenue in Bed-Stuy, said police.

Police have also connected the trio to armed robberies at Lorimer Express Food at 574 Broadway on Feb. 2, Broadway Mini Market at 1254 Broadway on Feb. 4, and Kristal Grocery at 1565 Fulton St. on Feb. 4.

Police describe the suspects as three men in their 30s sporting knit caps, hoodies, sweatpants and sneakers.
