Armed Men Steal $2K From 4 Brooklyn Delis In 1 Day, Police Say

Police are looking for three men who held up four Brooklyn delis on Sunday.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for three robbers who stole thousands of dollars in cash and cigarettes from four Brooklyn bodegas on Sunday.

The three thieves first barged into Ralph Avenue Food Corp. at 444 Ralph Ave. around 2:50 p.m., police said. One man pointed a gun at a 16-year-old employee while his accomplice grabbed $1,000 and five boxes of cigarettes.

Less than an hour later, the group pulled a gun on the 43-year-old employee of Rose Family Grocery at 416 Glenmore Avenue, stole $500 and the employee’s cellphone, then fled, police said.

The three men were seen next at Marcy Express Grocery at 529 Marcy Ave. around 5:40 p.m., when they tried to rob a 34-year-old employee who refused to hand over any cash, police said.

The final heist occurred around 6:10 p.m. at Cucao Deli at 1872 Bergen St., where the threesome stole $400 and drove off in a silver four-door sedan, police said.

Police describe the suspects as men in their thirties, two wearing knit caps and one a black hooded coat.
