Cops Shoot Man Pointing Pellet Gun In Brooklyn: NYPD
An unidentified man is in critical condition after police shot him three times in an East New York street, cops said.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN -- Police shot and critically injured a man who approached them with a pellet gun after a car chase Wednesday night, according to the NYPD.
Two 75th Precinct officers shot the unidentified man three times after he climbed out of his Toyota Camry and pointed a gun at them near Van Siclen and New Lots avenues at about 6:20 p.m., police said.
The officers had chased the Camry driver from New Lots and Pennsylvania avenues where they first spotted his car veering in and out of traffic, according to police.

The officers turned on their siren and lights but the Camry kept driving until coming to an abrupt stop on Van Siclen Avenue, police said.
Emergency responders rushed the driver in critical condition to Brookdale Hospital, police said.
The officers were taken to an area hospital for observation.
