Dead Brooklyn Woman's Adopted Son Tied And Robbed Her In '06: Police And Reports
Noreen Mulzac was found dead and tied up in electrical cords on Monday.
CANARSIE, BROOKLYN — A 70-year-old woman was found dead and bound with electrical cord Monday and police want question her adopted son who robbed her 11 years ago, sources said.
Noreen Mulzac, 70, was found dead on the bedroom floor of her Flatlands Third Street home around 2:20 p.m. Monday, police said.
Her death was ruled a homicide by strangulation, according to police.

Police have since identified Mulzac’s adopted son Jayvon Mulzac, 28 — who was convicted of tying his mother up and robbing in her in 2006 — as a person of interest, according to sources and reports.
Jayvon Mulzac was sentenced to three years in prison for breaking into Noreen Mulvac’s home in September of 2006, tying her up and stealing about $2,800, according to city records and a Canarsie Courier report.

Jayvon and two accomplices he let in through the garage also tied up his 18-year-old sister and pistol-whipped Mulzac before grabbing the cash from her purse, the Canarsie Courier reported at the time.
Mulzac's adopted son was 17-years-old at the time.
