A three-alarm fire ripped through a Fulton Street building early Wednesday morning, according to the FDNY

CYPRESS HILLS, BROOKLYN β An enormous fire ripped through a Brooklyn apartment building Wednesday morning and left six children and 18 adults temporarily without homes, officials said.
The three-alarm blaze erupted on the first floor of 3400 Fulton St., near Autumn Avenue, at about 4:30 a.m., according to the FDNY.
No one was injured in the flames, which firefighters had quelled by 6:20 a.m.

But four families have been rendered temporarily homeless and will rely on the Red Cross for a place to sleep Wednesday night, a Red Cross spokesperson said.
Red Cross provided the families with toys, food, a place to stay and MetroCards to help them meet with case workers, according to the spokesperson.

Firefighters reported vibrations and requested Department of Buildings inspectors examine the three-story building's stability, city records show.
