Men Stab, Beat And Rob L Train Rider Of Cellphone, Police Say
Police are looking for four men accused of attacking a 23-year-old in the Livonia Avenue subway station last Monday.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Four men stalked a straphanger through a Brownsville subway station, stabbed him and stole his phone, police said.
The 23-year-old victim got off a northbound L train at Livonia Avenue at about 5 p.m. last Monday only to see a group of men approaching him with knives, police said.
The man ran down the stairs but group chased him to the turnstiles where one of them stabbed him in the back, said police.

The 23-year-old continued running out of the station where the gang grabbed him, shoved his hood over his head and began to punch, kick, hit him with an umbrella and stab him three more times, police said.
The four men then grabbed his Samsung Galaxy cellphone and ran off down Van Sinderen Avenue, said police.

The young man was treated for cuts and puncture wounds on his back and torso in Brookdale Hospital, police said.
Police are now looking for four men in their 20s who were caught by a surveillance cameras near the subway.
