• Nick Salgia: New Study Links SBRT to Humoral Immune Activation in Metastatic RCC (oncodaily.com) — A University at Buffalo and Roswell Park research team, led by MD-PhD student Nick Salgia, has linked SBRT treatment in metastatic kidney cancer to stronger humoral immune responses. By analyzing patients treated in Buffalo, the study suggests SBRT may help prime B cells for better responses to immunotherapy, adding to the city's growing reputation in cutting-edge cancer research.
   

• Mammoth power play regains form in win over Sabres (kansas.com) — Buffalo Sabres fans saw the team fall 4–1 at home to the Utah Mammoth, despite an early power-play goal from Tage Thompson. Utah's special teams and a strong night from goalie Karel Vejmelka proved decisive, handing Buffalo its first back-to-back losses of the season and extending Utah's perfect record in the matchup.
